I got to go Seporah’s school for a special Thanksgiving meal. They had a field trip the week before to the grocery store and helped pick out the foods. They practiced and practiced their songs and dances. They made Turkey centerpieces and boat name holders. And that morning they cooked for us.
Seporah did such a good job. She was super cute. I couldn’t remember all of the songs but the one I remember went to the tune of Are You Sleeping? “Mashed potatoes, Mashed potatoes. Pumpkin pie, Pumpkin pie. We were so much thinner, before we came to dinner. Me Oh My! Me Oh My!” There was one about being thankful for our friends and family and it was lovely. In the picture you can’t really tell, but that’s a pilgrim hat. She kept on telling me that she was a pirate though. I tried to correct her to no avail.
I didn’t actually take that many pictures, I mostly just enjoyed it. And if you can’t tell she absolutely loves school and especially her teacher Mrs. VanTresse.

Sounds like a great day to be thankful! Kids are wonderful especially my grandkids.
She looks so big now; she’s growing up so FAST! I loved it when she sang her song for me on the phone. Please tell her how proud I am of her for learning all her songs!
