I don’t know about you guys, but I used to use napster like crazy, downloading all my music illegally. Back when napster made online music convenient you know. Ever since iTunes made legally purchasing music as convenient as getting it illegally, I completely stopped using napster/kazaa/limewire. I haven’t downloaded an illegal track of music in probably 5-6 years.
iTunes has this cool little feature, where it shows your purchase history, and I was going through it to see if I had gotten any music that I wanted to listen to, but forgotten about, just to see what I had gotten. And I stumbled upon this little gem…

Yeppers, so you guys know not only do I rock out to Miley Cyrus, but I also rock out to Britney Spears.
To be fair we have 8,499 songs on iTunes. 1 is by Miley Cyrus and 3 are by Britney Spears (the other 2 are from soundtracks).
We also have 1 by Marilyn Manson (from a soundtrack).
There’s 3 by The Dixie Chicks.
And 284 by The Beatles.
And 74 by Anberlin.
A little diversity in your music is a good thing…I think!
Country Music, Britney Spears, and Miley Cyrus are ample proof that diversity is not always something to be celebrated ;-).
