Dear Jane, Are you sure this drawing of a spider is the one I sent you? This spider only has seven legs and I do not feel I would have made such an elementary mistake when I drew it.

Regards, David.

Hello, I am back and have read through your emails and accept that despite missing a leg, that drawing of a spider may indeed be the one I sent you. I realise with hindsight that it is possible you rejected the drawing of a spider due to this obvious limb ommission but did not point it out in an effort to avoid hurting my feelings. As such, I am sending you a revised drawing with the correct number of legs as full payment for any amount outstanding. I trust this will bring the matter to a conclusion.

Regards, David.

Dear David, As I have stated, we do not accept drawings in lei of money for accounts outstanding. We accept cheque, bank cheque, money order or cash. Please make a payment this week to avoid incurring any additional fees.

I understand and will definately make a payment this week if I remember. As you have not accepted my second drawing as payment, please return the drawing to me as soon as possible. It was silly of me to assume I could provide you with something of completely no value whatsoever, waste your time and then attach such a large amount to it.

buyer beware

VERO BEACH, Fla. (AP) – A McDonald’s cashier called 911 after a Vero Beach drive-thru customer allegedly offered to pay for his meal with marijuana. The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office said the cashier called Monday with a description of the vehicle the suspect had been riding in.

A deputy spotted the vehicle, found marijuana in the car and arrested its occupant, 27-year-old Shawn Alexander Pannullo.

Pannullo was charged with possession of cannabis and posted $500 bail. It was unclear if he had an attorney.

A Sheriff’s report did not say what the suspect ordered at McDonald’s or if he ultimately purchased the meal using something other than marijuana.

Fated Failure

I am accepting my defeat.  I apologize to everyone for letting you down, but college has defeated all attempts to 1. keep running 2. lose weight 3.write a novel

As I publicly made these goals public, I am publicly denouncing them as well.

 I might fail/drop English 101..

please insert encouragement here:

Take this survey please :-)

Illuminati Alumni

I have come to the conclusion that my instructors are teaming up on me.  I am fully convinced now that  I have made some critical enemies, and I’m not positive I will live through this experience.  This was my schedule over the last week:

10/1 Major test in C+ Programming 210 class
10/2 Major test in English 101
10/6 Major test in Buisness Accounting 210
10/7 Major Lab Narrative Story due in English 101 (that’s actually 4-800 minimum stories and one being PERFECT)
10/8 Midterm in Hist 120
10/8 47% of all homework grade (which is 1/5 of whole class)  is due in C++ Programming 210 class
10/9 15 hours of community service and 8 page paper due as well as final chapters test  on this day in Political Science
10/14 debate due in Political science (1/3 of my grade)

If you are considering going back to college… don’t take a single credit more than 12.. and if other’s say don’t take this professor.. LISTEN TO THEM.  I took some of these guys for ‘the challenge’

Creative Suicide

Well everyone,  It’s been awhile since I’ve talked to you.  I feel like I owe you an update, but that is the problem with why I don’t post.  I sit down to write what has happened in the last 5 months,  get three paragraphs in, and decide it’s time to go work on homework or take a nap. So I am going to try and tell you what is going on NOW, and in the near future.  I am very disapointed in myself:

I haven’t done anything creative in months.  I read like 14 webcomics daily.. I think to myself.  I could do this.. if I had any talent whatsoever.   I am very  disapointed, I wanted to spend this semester doing more writing… I wanted to spend this whole year really exploring the edges of my talent.

I have gained nearly 30 lbs since getting married and leaving the marine corps.  I am REALLY out of shape, and can’t seem to run from here to there without collapsing.  (quote from “a few good men”.)  None of my old Larges fit me..  and once again.. it KILLS ME to run.. something I used to love doing.

I have come to only one conclusion with my self hatred in these regards.  I am confessing to each and every one of you, and extending an invitation as well.  I am DONE with this.   I have a resolution, and I have a determination, and a goal in mind.  (yes I have all 3).   They are as follows:

           1.  I am going to run the Arizona Rock & Roll Marathon on January 18, 2009.I am going to run 4 miles a day until I can do so without walking,  then I am going to do it until I like doing it.   Then I am going to run 6 miles a day as well.   (at least 5 days a week)

           2.  I am inviting Russ, Steven, or pretty much anyone else I’m related to (who thinks they can do it) to come join me.  I will host you in my home, and I will pay your way in ((but you have to get yourself to San Diego or Yuma, for me to pick you up 🙁     ))

           3.  I am going to lose 20 lbs before the marathon.  I do not know my exact weight right now.. but you will be informed soon, as I track my weight progress.

           4.  I am going to be giving up video games for the entire month of November.  I will be participating in National Novel Writing Month.   This is going to be a major challenge, and I’m told that most won’t finish,  I am going to try and beat the odds.   I invite Steven, or anyone else who desires to join me, and we will read each other’s books after we are done.

I can feel you all cheering me on already :-),  I just hope some of you will cheer me on… while WE are doing it.  *cough* Steven *cough*  Russell *cough*

Let me know by Nov the 15th (I think)  Then the price goes up.

Thank you all,  and Russ I’m sorry for not getting back to all your comments.  I always told myself that I would do it later.. but later never got here.

Site meeting results

We the founders and proud owners of Rushingaround.com have been pooling our brains for ways to better serve you, ways to expand the site, and new ways to shake things up.  If you have noticed we do have some new links, and have updated the about me site in small ways.  But today I want to focus on what has been decided in our last corporate meeting.

If you will look on the right side of the screen you will see a small map of the world with red dots on it.  This map is a portfolio of all the places we have readers!  If you notice there are quite a few more viewers in Southern California (Jason), Washington (where Maria used to live), and Hawaii (Where Steven and Maria log on daily).  What our studies seem to prove is that the longer readers stay in a place the more readers there are in that region.  So when people stay in an area for an extended period of time.. Rushingaround gets more dots!!   Now I’d like to address the issue that we have,  There are NO dots from Africa, and none from the Formerly known Russian Republic (north central Asia)..  We here at Rushing around have analyzed these results and are addressing the problem.

As we have plenty of readers in the Texas and Washington Region,  The Albrights and the Rushings are hereby being commissioned as spreaders of the site to foreign nations.   I’m afraid you have no choice in the fact of moving.. but you do have a choice of destinations!!!  One of them is going to Africa, and the other is going to Northern Asia..  The first one to move gets to their pick of destinations!!!  Isn’t this a great opportunity?!!   The race is on!  Get started and send us a post when you get there next week.

Isn’t it a great time to be a viewer of Rushing Around?!!

new… shamefully spoken

Sarah and I have been talking about it for a while, and decided that even though some of you know.. eventually the rest of you are going to find out… So this is the official notice to all of you.. judge us.. or whatever..  Sarah and I have good reason to believe it’s a girl and chose to name her bella.  We are telling you now because we do finally have pictures to show of our new addition.  Now obviously these pictures are prearrival,  but I think it’s pretty delightful anyway.  So.. here’s you first glimpse of her.  Don’t judge us.. just love us..
