The “I haven’t been here in forever” update

Yeah, I haven’t even been reading comments. I just see pictures Märia puts up pretty much. School is really busy and the girls keep me busy when I am not at school. So here is the quick rundown of crazy stuph that has happened.

We have called poison control twice in the last 2 weeks for Felicity. Once she got into Momma’s perfume (we don’t think she did more than taste it though). I wasn’t home, Märia’s fault! The second time she drank down a whole 3 ounce sample of mouthwash. Unfortunately it wasn’t the alcohol free type, so I had to call and see if she was going to need to go to the emergency room, or if she was just going to buzz a little bit on it. They did the calculations on the fluoride in it and told us not to give her fluoride pill tonight, and said just watch her and make sure she doesn’t act too drunk or fall asleep in the next 3 hours. So Märia had to go with her to nursery to keep a close watch on her and she learned something crazy. There were 15 kids in nursery, and two nursery workers! And they called that a slow day!! I asked her if that meant she felt like she should go up everyone in a while and help out, and she said maybe, but she sure wasn’t going to, it was crazy up there!!!

School is going fine. I am taking 16 credits including English, 2 history classes, a humanities class and Biology with a lab. Amazingly enough, the same comments that cause issues at home, church and in the military make my instructors like me! Weird. Most everyone are commies around me at school, students and teachers alike, but they all put up with me, treating me as if I were super smart but ignorant as all get out. =)

I just set up Märia’s photography webpage. She chose a relatively (at least to readers of this blog) generic domain name. She totally didn’t like my idea. Please comment on this if nothing else: I wanted her to name her domain “IShootPregnantWomen.com”. She said it was in bad taste. But really… Can you imagine little business cards that had a beautiful picture of a prego mom and her hubby on the beach in love, beautiful picture. And on the back it would have IShootPregnantWomen.com and a red target. That is awesome marketing! =) She didn’t buy it though.

I have discovered the most awesome snail mail website ever. It is called snailmailr.com. Go there! Basically you type in your address, the address you want a letter to go to. Then you type out the letter. When it is all typed out they essentially add it to your Amazon.com shopping cart, and you pay via Amazon. It costs $1 per letter, and they let you send pictures that they print out with a high quality laser printer. Way way more convenient than writing everything out, finding an envelope, buying stamps and driving it down to the post office.
