If I don’t write this down now, it’s not getting written about due to children and work and sleepy time. So this Sunday was Seporah’s first time to give the closing prayer in Primary. Here it is in it’s entirety:
“Thank you Father. Thank you day. Thank you teachers. Thank you church. Thank you Jesus. Amen.”
I was helping her and I’m pretty sure she was going to say Thank you Matt after Thank you day, but I kinda steered her clear as it was Primary (BTW Matt, in case you didn’t know, you’re still the number one person prayed for in this house). She still doesn’t quite get all the components of prayer, but she was really, really cute. Mele was like, hey that’s the way all of our prayers should be, all about gratitude!
AMEN, Sister…gratitude all the way!

I wish I could have heard her myself. I am sure it was wonderful. Have fun seeing your dad in a couple of days.
