North Shore

So we’ve been biking as a family about 3 times a week since we got my bike. I’ve been getting better and it’s nice to have an outdoor activity that counts as exercise (unfortunately sitting on the bench while my children play at the park does not count). We went to the north shore last week and totally wished I’d brought a camera. We drive by north shore all the time and sometimes even stop. But when you’re biking you get to see so much more. We rode past like 8 beaches and it was amazingly beautiful. We stopped at one that had this inlet the size of about 3 Olympic pools that was all 1-3ft deep. So we stopped and waded in it for 30 minutes or so. Seporah had a blast and was soaked by the end (it was a good thing we brought an extra set of clothes for the girls, Steven and I were just wet for the ride home though). The sun happened to set while we were at the inlet and with the clouds and the water and everything, it looked like a postcard. This post sounds really corny, now that I re-read it, but anyways it was awesome.

  1. Nothing corny about great family memories; we appreciate your wonderful posts so keep it up! We wish we were there to see it, too. Today we had 14 people 9 (five missionaries, six teenage boys, and the Thibos) over for dinner; it was a little hectic. The Thibos say hello…

    Love you!
