Some new websites for you to check out

Ok, my mom was evil and has had a regular blog (more regular than I, about as regular as Märia) for 3 months.  It is mostly about the quilts she makes with some commentary on her life, similar to what you get here about us.  The quilts are really beautiful and she makes them all for charity.  Go check them and her out at:  missdebs .

Also, Russell (Märia’s brother) and his wife asked me to host a blog for them and they are set up over at AlbrightCentral.com .  They will blog about their lives and their infant, the newest Märia.

Lastly, don’t forget about NormanRushing.com .  Only 1 book has sold, which I think is a bit of a disappointment.  But such is life.  =)

  1. Okay we ordered two copies so the grandkids will always know something about their great grandfather. Any chance to get them autographed. I here you have a special in with the author! 🙂

  2. Unfortunately that is not possible. The primary reason that it actually costs so much ($10 for a paperback) is because they print the book on demand. There is no guarantee that the book will ever sell even 10 copies, so why would they mass produce it? In fact, I honestly would be happy if he sold 100 books to his closest friends, primarily former parishioners who he is mailing letters to about it. The reason they can sell most paperbacks for between $7 and $8 is because they mass produce them at a cost of less than $1 per book. These books actually cost $5 to produce, and Lulu adds $1.50 for their profit, and Grandpa gets $3.50 for his royalties.

So because they print upon receiving an order, the book ships straight from Lulu to you. Grandfather never sees the books.
