Whew! I am Totally Out of Shape!

So yesterday was the first day I’d done some real “exercise” in 3 weeks. We only have one car, so if the person at home wants to go out while the other is at work, we have to use the bikes or walk or ride the bus. We also live in a sort of valley area where to get anywhere you have to go up a steep incline. This is not usually a problem though, I can peddle up the hill without any issues, even with Felicity on the back. Not to say I was hugely buff or incredibly strong by any means, but I had trained my body enough to where I can usually make it do the things I want it to do. I had previously thought the 15 pounds I lost after surgery were fat, now I’m thinking it was probably more muscle since I couldn’t even make it halfway up the hill on my bike. I was like dude, this sucks, I’ll take the 15 extra pounds if it gets me up this stupid hill. Felicity was also having a fit when I walked it up the rest of the way. She couldn’t figure out why I was doing that and kept telling me to “Sit Down!” on the bike.

  1. You’ll get the muscles back if you keep going on the bike with that awesome hill. When you make it to the top again, you’ll feel the muscles are coming back.

    Poor, dear, Felicity! She’s just used to a mommy that can do ANYTHING!
