The Land of Nod in my opinion is when children fall asleep, where life is a dreamworld. It’s suppose to be a sweet, peaceful, secure place (ie my parent’s house). Steven “educated” me on this one. Wikipedia it if you’d like to know the Bible version (BTW my definition is also in wikipedia).
In conclusion, in case anyone thought this, I was not saying oh no, here I go to the land of eternal exile.
Silly, Steven, we never thought of this in the biblical sense. We knew you meant, “a sweet, peaceful, secure place (ie my parent’s house).” Although I am not so sure our home is always peaceful with seven grandkids, it can get pretty noisy. I have alternative meaning for the Land of Nod: where one can go and nod off, and take naps. Now, that sounds good to me.
Nonetheless, the Land of Nod awaiting the advent of Steven, Märia, Seporah, & Fecility with great eagerness.
Love you, Dad
