My leave has been approved for December and we will be in Washington Dec 19-29th. Woohoo! It will have been 15 months since the girls and I have been back. 5 years since Steven’s been there. Get to see Grandma and Grandpa, Uncles and Aunties, and cousins. We get to see Lynda and meet Brett. And Sarah S. I’m making a date with you (if you’ll accept), because I have yet to go to Ikea. Woohoo!
Speaking of cousins, my little niece was born 2 days ago. Märia Christine Albright. 8lbs 7oz, 20in at 10:26pm, she’s pretty cute, you can tell she takes after her Aunt Märia.
And speaking of birth days, my dad just had his 50th, the old dog him 😉
Old Dog? Just remember it is the mileage not the years that count; of course, sometimes that means I feel 100 years old!
We are all looking forward to having you, Steven, and the girls visit for Christmas; it will be great fun.
Love you, Dad
Hooray! We just arrived in Washington last night. We are staying with Lisa until our house closes the first week of September (if all goes well). CAN’T WAIT TO SEE YOU!!
That would be AWESOME!!!!
I am so glad you get to come for Christmas. You’ll LOVE the Christmas lights Russell II puts up (that is if I can convince him to do them again for my present… hint, hint R2). Maybe we should host a Christmas party for all your friends and family to come over and see you all; I think they have been wondering if you would ever return.
Lynda, so glad you made it back into our beautiful corner of the country. Sure hope the warm weather didn’t get you down!
Christmas lights on the house again, Christmas lights on the house again, nag, nag, nag — Broken record. Just Kidding mom. I will do the lights, however I will have to start putting them up early November to make sure I get yours and mine done before vacation. So get ready.
Aunt Märia, I can’t wait for you to meet your niece. She looks a lot like me (according to Gramma Pam), but lets hope there is a lot of Leslie in there too.
