Instead of the Rambling Post I Wrote Last Week

Sometimes this motherhood thing seems really, really hard. I wrote a post last week about how the bad days were currently outnumbering the good days and motherhood is harder now than it was 20 years ago. I didn’t publish it because it seemed quite depressing and pathetic (which is exactly how I felt).

Then I went to work.

And it’s like, wow, I’ve got it made, neither of my daughters are actively dying, they’re actually on the completely healthy side. Put’s a little perspective and appreciation on there. Makes me come home and say to my temper tantruming children, you want some chicken nuggets with a side of hugs and kisses?

  1. Yea, baby! Your catching on! Kids are great; grandkids are even better! Hugs and Kisses from us mainlanders.

    Love you, Dad
