It’s Mildly Annoying Loving Something the Media’s Obsessed About…

…and no I don’t mean Michael Jackson.

I started reading Twilight forever ago and loved it, I told everyone about it and they looked at me like I was crazy, “A high school girl falls in love with a vampire? Um, no thanks.” When it was made into a movie last year I was thrilled. Incredibly so, then people started reading it and going wow, this IS a good book (well everyone but Stephen King, but we won’t count his opinion). Now though, it’s a media obsession, obnoxiously so and for people who haven’t actually read the series, they roll their eyes, “Isn’t that for teenage girls?” (I always respond that my Dad, my husband and my youngest brother all read the series, that usually shuts them up).

Plus I sound so main stream. Yuck.

But I am so, so, so excited for November (and I so, so, so sound like a teenage girl).

  1. Well, it is okay to be so, so excited, just don’t become obnoxious about it like a teenage girl. Twilight is a great series and the first movie was pretty good. The second movie should be a lot better given the budget they now have. Gee, I guess a little media obsession is a good thing. See you tomorrow if only for a few minutes.

BYW: How is Michael Jackson? 😉

Ha; I love you, Dad 🙂
