Seporah loves to cook. One of her favorite things to cook is “pumpkin bread.” Pumpkin bread may in fact be pumpkin, or it may be zucchini bread, squash bread, banana bread or wheat bread. I’m not exactly sure why it’s all pumpkin according to her, but it’s cute. Felicity also wants to help cook, but with her klutzy abilities, I just don’t feel comfortable having her stand on a chair next to sharp knives and hot stoves.
Karen gave Seporah a dollie when Felicity was born. We thought it would help with the transition into big sister. Umm, not so much. Now that Felicity is older though, SHE loves that doll to death. She carries it around, calls it her baby, tucks her baby in, feeds her baby a bottle, hugs and kisses her baby. It’s absolutely adorable, she’s just a regular little momma. I’m gonna have to take pictures one day. I unfortunately had to get the baby some new clothes yesterday as Seporah had cut the other ones to shreds (you didn’t really think she just cut their hair did you? that was just the most traumatic) and I’d had the baby naked for long enough. I now understand why sometimes you see naked baby dollies at peoples houses.
Seporah can not stop talking about Disneyland. Funny thing, she doesn’t know what it’s called. She just keeps going on about the Princess Castles and Dragons and Volcanoes and Big Doors (initially I didn’t know she was talking about Disneyland, Steven had to translate for me). After that I sat her down and explained that it was really far away and we can’t go today or tomorrow or any time soon. So now she’s asking to go to the Princess Castle that’s Far Away.
Sounds like she’s hooked on Disneyland, just like mommy and grandma. I LOVE it!
As far as the doll goes; do you remember Molly? Felicity sounds like she’s just as attached.
Hope you keep them both in the kitchen as much as is safe.
Love you,
Mom
Hey Seporah; here is one of life’s little secrets: if mom and dad won’t give it to you, call grandma. She has a marshmellow heart and will pay also anything to get to see two of her granddaughters even paying to bring them to Disneyland the week before Thanksgiving. 🙂
Love you, Grandpa Russ
Kind of reminds me of you when you were younger, you drug Molly EVERYWHERE you went. And when you got angry at me, Molly would “speak” for you. Thinking back it is hilarious. I wonder if this is something I get to look forward to myself. Hmmm….
