So Steven has told me for years that my shoes are awful for my feet and they were gonna start hurting my legs and back etc. I didn’t really listen since I like my choice in shoes. Flats, flats, and more flats. But with this whole running business I’ve been reading about taking care of my feet. Everything said I needed to wear shoes with “sole support.” Which I’m gonna have to say I claimed ignorance about whatever that meant. I went out and bought the shoes though. Posted about them a couple of weeks ago and I’ve been wearing them and loving em. And then tonight I wore one of my old flats. Holy cow! My knees hurt, my feet hurt and my legs hurt! Who knew? I mean they never bothered me before, ever. Well I thought enough of this, I suppose I need to get myself some new shoes. I went looking for some cute flat style “sole suport” shoes. I found some by J-41, but do they come in my size, um no. Plus they’re like an arm and a leg. Blah!
yeah, so I told her last night before she left the house not to go in those shoes… but does she listen to me? =) and it’s arch support. =)
LOL. The shoes you posted look darn CUTE though; but if you have to give up a leg to get a pair, probably defeats the purpose.
Keep on pushing her to take care of herself, Steven!
Love you,
Mom
