Märia: I’m in the mood for really bad Chinese food.
Steven: Bad Chinese food? Not good Chinese food?
M: Well, I’d prefer the good stuff, but I have yet to find good Chinese food on the island.
S: That’s true. The worst one was across the street, from um,… that one place.
M: You mean the one in North Shore.
S: Oh, no, I blocked that one out. That one was terrible. Yuck.
We’ve got great Japanese food on the island considering 40% of our population is Japanese and a huge portion of our tourists are as well. And there’s quite a number of good Thai places. But Chinese, man I could really go for some yum potstickers, some wonton soup, and sweet and sour chicken. We ended up in Chinatown where we found some good Chinese food there: shaved ice. The girl’s thought it was delicious.
I still like Ling Lings frozen potstickers; they sell them at our commissary here, maybe they have them there as well, also they are at Costco (I forget do you go to Sam’s Club or Costco now?) Unless you’re not giving up on the restaurant idea…
Good luck,
Mom
