There’s This Thing Called Karma, I Should Really Give It It’s Proper Respect

So yesterday morning I was on the phone with my mom and somehow or another it came to the fact that when men are sick they really whine. You know what I’m talking about. Sick days for them are when they lay on the couch and do nothing but complain. Women on the other hand still have to do everything, they just feel like crap doing it. Then I get to work. I start feeling knarly around 11AM or so. By the time we get to 6PM, I’m really, really sick. And all I could think was darn you karma, not today. I just woke up after sleeping 11 hours and am debating wether the achy-all-over-ness is from running or sickies. Either way, it sucks.

  1. OH NO YOU ARE SICK!!!

I really feel for you Märia, I can’t tell you how many times I go to work sick and think to myself….. why is it that when a child get’s sick at school we rush them home like none other. Heaven forbid they pass around THEIR germs. But when I get sick, the teacher who has contact all day long with ALL of the children, I’m not rushed home and put to bed. I guess my germs aren’t as powerful as the kiddos. BIG SIGH… oh if only to be a kid again. 🙂

  2. So sorry Mar. Hope you are feeling yourself again very soon.

    Love You,
    Mom
