Mommy’s Pajamas and Daddy’s Fault

For Christmas Steven had wanted to buy me these pajamas from Target. Somehow or another the shipping screwed up and I ended up with 2 sets of the same pajamas that Steven did not order. Steven was upset, but I was like don’t worry about it, I’ll just wear these ones. They’re silky and soft and are dark blue with tiny light green dots on them. I like em they’re nice, but you know who likes them even more? Felicity. She drags them around everywhere. Sometimes if I try to put them on she gets huffy until I give her either one of the shirts or one of the pairs of pants. And when I’m not home she carries it around all day I’m told. It’s kinda like a security blanket and I kinda wish I had a third set since they do get worn and do need to get washed.

The other day we were all riding our bikes downtown. I had Felicity and Steven had Seporah. Well Steven fell, he tried to catch Seporah but she hit the ground. Hard. Steven felt REALLY bad. Seporah was crying and saying Sorry like it was her fault. Steven said, no sorrys, it was Daddy’s fault. Seporah continued to say Daddy’s fault, Daddy’s fault the rest of the day. It made Steven feel even worse. The funny part is she’s continuing to say Daddy’s fault whenever she doesn’t get her way or something hurts even if Steven’s no where in sight.

Song of the day, how long has it been since you heard this one? I was 9 when it came out.

  1. I can just see little Seporah running around and chanting, while Felicity pulls out your jammies!

    Take care,
    Mom
