Karen Says

So yes I have been VERY busy, maybe I’ll get around to talking about it. I’m sure I will actually. But anyways, Karen emailed this to me and since I haven’t seen what my daughters have been up to the last week, I thought I’d share (BTW, I’ve “written” one post in the last week, I don’t think I’ve done that in forever).

“Today was a pretty good day. Seporah has been very interested in Letters lately. We’ve been working on the Alphabet and Letter Recognition. She’s Amazing. I can tell you’ve been working hard at home. This Morning I had a shirt that said AIR FORCE on it. She looks at me and Says ARG (that’s how she says R) Then she said A . . . and F. She also is very good with the letter Q for some reason. Pretty much the only thing I can get Seporah to eat is Melted Cheese Quesidillas. I use Whole Wheat Tortilla. When I have brocolli, she likes brocolli on it. She will also eat it with scrambled eggs. Felicity just picks the eggs out of the Tortilla. Felicity is pretty much the clumsiest little kid I know. She is constantly face planting that cute little face of hers. I reckon she has a few new bruises from this week. Oh yes, it’s also very funny that Felicity thinks she is Potty Trained. Every time I even mention the word potty she bolts to the bathroom. She gets the little potty seat and tries putting it on the toilet. Then she whines until I let her sit on the potty. She is so proud of herself. I don’t think she minds that she is still wearing her diaper and shorts. She wants to be just like Seporah in every way. I have to admit 3 days in a row is pretty darn exhausting. I don’t know how you do it. Hope you had a great day.”

  1. What a wonderful picture! Did you take that one too Karen?
Thanks so much for sharing the girls with us, it makes them seem a bit closer than an ocean away!
