  1. Are we not on the same wavelength?? I didn’t see the movie, but I did read the book about three weeks ago. I thought it was a waste of time, although I thought it very clever of the writer to be so realistic that when the man time traveled his clothes stayed in the time period. (I always wondered how time travelers clothes came with them.) I did see a trailer for the movie and looked better than the book. Was it?

I should tell you, most of the adult books I read I think are a waste of time, but I still keep reading them.

What else are you reading? Maybe we’ll get in sync soon.

  2. I loved the movie, didn’t know there was a book… now I need a trip to barnes and noble

    Love you,
    Mom

  3. A lot of people loved the movie. The movie was a bit more clean than the book, took out the old girlfriend, the steamy scenes and where the guy beat her up. I really enjoyed both. I don’t think a book or movie is worth anything unless it focuses on relationships. I don’t just mean man and woman relationships I mean human relationships in general and both the movie and book is about the time travelers’ relationships (or lack of) with other people (not saying you can’t blow things up, but seriously James Bond is not worth my time or effort, Jumper is an example of a good action movie with relationships).
