Yep; teaching them correct principles and let them have experiences that will make them better people (even at nine years old). I think too many parents “protect” their children today to the point that the children never grow up and hence are still with their parents into their 20′s. Cut the cord and let them learn about life; our job is to guide them and help them in this world not to protect them from every bad thing out there.
