Not a bright idea

Have any of you ever thrown your phone away… on purpose… but not really?   Well I had this experience this morning. I recieved a phone call from my mom right as I was wipeing down the kitchen table. Right about the time that we both said “Goodbye”, there was that split second where I had phone in one hand and the wet paper towel in the other. Then I remember seeing my phone make a perfect basket into the trash. Did I throw it? I must have.  Did I mean to throw the phone away instead of the towel?…… OF COURSE NOT. But anyhow———   I threw my phone away today.

I was laughing so hard at this post, and it was only half at you! I remember getting to my front door with a trash bag in my hand, and wondering why it was there when I distinctly remember throwing it away. Thinking back, I put the trash in one hand as I got out of the car, and my wallet, cell phone, hat and ipod in the other hand. And then I realized I had trash in one hand, and the other was empty. =) 3 stories down the trash chute and no damage to the ipod or cell phone. Talk about dumpster diving. =) You fit in around here so well Sarah!

Ha! So do I get any extra points for not throwing any one elses phone away or that it has only happened to me once.
