When one child has a melt down in the store while you are trying to buy finger paints for both of them to play with, the other will also melt down. They’ll scream on the ride home without the finger paints since you left the store without buying them and then when you put them in bed for quiet/calm down time, they’ll see who can scream louder. It’s great. It’s like an object in motion stays in motion, a child screaming stays screaming.
And I keep on forgetting this, but when you leave the cart with all the stuff in it, carrying 60 lbs of screaming children gets really heavy after about 100 feet. Just forget about making the screaming toddler walk, she doesn’t care about the onlookers or anything else for that matter.
