I keep on having all these ideas to write posts about and I start them and then they are REALLY boring, I mean not funny at all. And so I just delete them so you don’t have to go wow, Märia’s really stretching here. Consequently I haven’t been posting much and you don’t know the inner workings of my slightly monotonous life (wake up, change diapers, feed kids, go to sleep, wake up, go to work, come home, go to sleep). I try to make it sound interesting and I mean anyone can make their life sound interesting with a little imagination. So here I go again:
Steven has had a bike for about a year and a half, he rides it everywhere and takes the girls along for rides, either one at a time in the bike seat or both in the bike trailer. We’ve been saying forever that I need one so we can go on family bike rides. Well I finally got one last week, I was more than a little nervous when I got a baby bike seat on the back. Please realize the last time I was on a bike was when I was 15 years old and found myself scraped up in a ditch. Everything has turned out ok though, no one’s died or even got any owies (well if you don’t count my sore legs).
Seporah thinks bike riding is a blast, except for the helmet part, but has come to accept the fact if she wants to go “weee” down the hill she must wear it. Felicity on the other hand is my little pansy and starts griping as soon as she sees the helmets or bikes.
In other news, all of us did a 5k on Saturday, our time being 33:44, almost a minute better than my last 5k. Go Jason, btw, on the marathon goal. I’m still working on the 5ks, they are so kicking my butt, but I’m doing them. There’s a 10 mile on Thanksgiving that I’m gonna go for, let’s see how dead I am after that one.

My ‘biker chick’ daughter! Sounds like fun for all of you. BTW, who gets the grabby miss Felicity during your rides? I can just hear missy Seporah yelling ‘WEEEE!’
Ethan was over yesterday and asking about Seporah; made me miss you all even more.
Also, I think 5k is a great run length (my personal favorite) and have no intentions of ever doing a marathon. I bet you do great on your thanksgiving run, but would suggest making ahead as many dinner items as possible so you’re not too sore to cook and hungry on Thanksgiving afternoon!
Love you,
Mom
You’re sooooo brave! I’m not sure I could even balance on the bike!!
