What do you do if you are a victum of an insect wanting to take up residence in your….    EAR?

It all began when I was showing off my little Bella to one of my swimming students.  We were having a rather interesting conversation when something flew directly into my ear!  I sort of froze in shock and then preceeded to yell as well as attempt to dig this creature out of my ear.  When the use of my finger didn’t work I moved on to the pool.  I thought I could perhaps flush it out.  SO I TRIED….   At one point two of my students told me it was coming out.  In a panic I attempted to pick it out.  NO GOOD!   After this…. it disappeard.  Was it still in my ear?  The girls tried to reasure me that it had probably came out.  But you see… I have absolutely no evidence to back up that claim! 

Unfortunately… I have been one of these victims.  So Please, I need some advice.

I woke up this morning with Nirvana’s “In Bloom” stuck in my head. What’s that you say? No one knows the words to any Nirvana song? Well, thanks to Rockband at Jason’s house, I do.

Sarah and I have been talking about it for a while, and decided that even though some of you know.. eventually the rest of you are going to find out… So this is the official notice to all of you.. judge us.. or whatever..  Sarah and I have good reason to believe it’s a girl and chose to name her bella.  We are telling you now because we do finally have pictures to show of our new addition.  Now obviously these pictures are prearrival,  but I think it’s pretty delightful anyway.  So.. here’s you first glimpse of her.  Don’t judge us.. just love us..

So when you have 2 in diapers, a huge portion of your life revolves around bowel movements. And my daughters have 4-6 a day each. That’s right, there’s 8-11 poopy diapers a day at my house (I started keeping track because I wondered). And that’s normal for them (I am mildly envious of moms who’s children poop only 1x a day).

Anyways that would be all fine and dandy, if what Seporah started doing wasn’t so bad. About 2 months ago she started taking off her diaper now and them. However in the past 3-4 weeks, she has taken off her diaper EVERY SINGLE TIME she’s pooped. No amount of “hold on while I get the wipes!” or “in the bathroom!” will stop her (heaven forbid if I’m doing the dishes in the kitchen or feeding Felicity in the girl’s room). Do you know what that means? That means poop has gotten on the carpet, more than once, more than twice, so many times I don’t even want to try to count. Our house unfortunately has a new aroma, one I am quite embarrassed about (Steven IS cleaning the carpet when I go to Washington in September).

The only good thing I can think of is is hopefully she’s getting closer to potty training. I’ve learning over and over again you can bring the child to the potty, but you sure can’t make her use it.
