AHHHH! WHAT A WORLD!
The ice cream is getting so expensive to make, it no longer comes in half gallon containers, only in 1.5 liter containers! Every single brand!
(actually our dollar just isn’t worth as much according to Steven, but I don’t really care, gas is more expensive and now ice cream no longer comes in half gallon sizes)

Kung Fu Panda and Making Plans
So I was really excited about Kung Fu Panda and it was all right. It was cute and funny and visually fun to watch. However, the story sucked. I mean it’s about a fat dreaming (but good hearted) Panda who is accidently chosen as the Dragonwarrior and overnight transforms into one. The idea that nice guys get their rewards is good, but the idea that opportunity is going to fall into your lap without any effort on your part is frustrating. It’s an idea that so many people in this world buy into. I’m good (most of the time) so I deserve the world handed to me on a silver platter. Case in point, how many dumb people buy lottery tickets? Or how many people say in 5 years I’m going to have 100K job or a 3k ft house or something absurd like that, but lay no plans on how to accomplish that goal? Or how about the people who smoke for 30 years get lung cancer and expect everyone else to fix it, even though they could have prevented it? The fact that the average American household is $7,000 in credit card debt is also case in point, because I deserve everything I want, even if I don’t have the money for it.
Anyway, I’m sure I buy into the idea as well (my husband says I’m oh so spoiled, which I am). But I do know how to make goals and plans to get to those goals. This is something that not everyone knows how to do, so thanks mom and dad. Just another thing you taught me over and over and over again, hoping that it stuck somewhere along the line.

Mommy = Extension
So Felicity is getting bigger, however slowly. 16 lbs, 5 oz and 26 in. She has moved up in clothes size, she’s now 6-9 months. We only had 3 sleepers left over from Seporah (not sure how that happened). But anyways she needed a couple more. So I went to get some more at the outlet stores. An employee and a mom were discussing something, I wasn’t paying attention, one looks at me for affirmation.
Other Lady: Isn’t that right, when you become a mother, it’s no longer about you, it’s about the kids?
Me: Yes, that is a true statement.
Other Lady: Yeah, when you become a mom, you’re no longer a person, just an extension of someone else.
Me: Um, yeah, unfortunately that’s also a true statement.

Gum, Candy, Fruit
So I’m not exactly sure how or where. But I do know Seporah has a candy stash as evidenced by this morning bringing me a gum wrapper with her mouth full and then a smarties wrapper with her mouth full.

Notice anything?
The first picture is of Seporah at 1 month 25 days. The second picture is of Felicity at 6 months 21days. Notice anything? They are wearing the exact same outfit. If that gives you an idea how big Seporah was and how little Felicity is. You can also tell my picture taking ability has somewhat improved. Or at least the one of Felicity is in focus.

Look at Me!
So Mommy went to slept in her room and shut the door. And Daddy was suppose to be watching us, but he was tired too, so he went to slept on the couch. I figured with both parents asleep I could do whatever I wanted to. So I found the camera (which they never let me play with) and took pictures. See what a good photographer I am!

Aww, Man…
While we were visiting Jason, Seporah picked up the phrase “Aww, Man!” from him. It is incredibly cute whenever she says it and she says it like 10 times a day. Consequently Steven and I have picked it up in our language. Example:
It’s 4:50am, Mom is about to go to work and Dad wakes up.
Dad: Did you just feed Felicity?
Mom: No, she slept the whole night! *Note-this would be the VERY first time that has happened*
Dad: Aww, Man!
Mom: What do you mean “Aww, Man?!?!”
Dad: That means she’s going to wake up any minute and I’m going to have to feed her *Note-amazingly Mom did not kill Dad for this comment, even though mom has not slept at the very most more than 5 hours at a time since she begin terrible morning sickness with said baby over a year ago*

Still sick and my new job
Well, I have been far sicker than I am now, or have been this go around, but I have never been sick this long. Märia and I got sick last Thursday, the 22 of May. We really haven’t had any respite since then. Yesterday I still had a 103.7 fever and today I am still up over 100. And that isn’t even the worst, but the worst isn’t fit for public consumption. Ewwww =)
So I have a new job. I work as an Audio/Video Tech in a television studio! The station is TV2. I always thought of AFN as the only army/military station, but apparently Hawaii has their very own station that is piped into all the Hawaiian military installations, barracks, hospitals, and can be specially requested from the local cable company by soldiers living off base.
My new job so far has been to set up cameras and sound systems. Lots of mixers, mics, speakers and amps. We have done lots of ceremonies and celebrations and so forth. I am also learning video editing and video transferring. There is lots to learn and I actually work all day long. This is really a first for me in my military experience. I never have had a job where I have work to do that takes all day. I have to decide at the end of the day what to finish quick and what to leave for tomorrow!
I will talk more about it later, but it is lots of fun. Tired now and going to sleep.
